Very good restaurants and friendly staff

Not an easy place to get without a car but well worth the effort to do so. This is off the main trail from Hirschaid but an absolute must. It's a real local and the owner is most animated and entertaining. We were in town for two nights and were glad to eat here both times. I had pork belly and beans the first night and it was superb. My wife had a mixed meat plate in a frying pan that I was envious of so had that the second night. My friend had the Sülze, which was great quality and the wives had asparagus the second night. It was nicely presented as well as great value and quality. The Lagerbier was amazing and the Sommergold pretty good, too. Can't wait to go back.
